Removal and installation the oil pan (BMW 7 Series E38)

1. Remove the crankcase guard.

2. Drain the engine oil.



3. Disconnect the connector (1) of the K/L low engine oil level switch wiring.



4. Unscrew the bolts and remove the oil pan.

5. Clean the mating surfaces, install new gasket and secure the oil pan new bolts with plastic thread coating.
