To remove the oil pan, you need to lower the front axle beam.
1. Follow the steps described in paragraphs 10 through 13 of Section Removal and installation the upper section of the oil pan.
2. Loosen the upper nuts of the left and right engine mount cushions (see illustration).
3. Raise the engine by 6÷8 mm using a special device, using the engine lifting eyes.
4. Remove the engine oil dipstick guide.
5. Remove the oil pan (see section Removal and installation the oil pan).
6. Loosen the tension of the A/C compressor drive belt and remove the tensioner bar from the crankcase (see section Removal and installation drive belts).

7. Unscrew the bolt and loosen the clamp securing the pipeline to the power steering pump.

8. Without disconnecting the pipes, remove the power steering pump and hang it to the side so that the pipes are not loaded.
If necessary, remove the locating pin from the top of the crankcase.

9. Loosen the positive cable fastener on the generator (2).

10. Remove the positive cable mounting bracket bolt from the engine mount.

11. Unscrew the bolts and remove the protective tube from the crankcase.

12. Unscrew the bolts securing the retaining plate to the front axle beam, loosen the clamps and remove the tube and plate.

13. Remove the heat shield.

14. Remove the positive cable from the engine crankcase.

15. Remove the engine oil return line from the crankcase using a special tool.
16. Disconnect the steering shaft from the steering gear (see chapter Suspension and steering).
17. Support the front axle beam, disconnect it from the engine mount and lower it by approximately 60 mm.

18. Remove the bolts inside the upper section of the oil pan and remove the oil pump.
19. Remove the bolts securing the upper section of the oil pan on the transmission side (see illustration).
20. Remove the remaining bolts securing the upper section of the oil pan and remove it forward.
21. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Please note the following points:
- Replace the engine oil dipstick guide O-rings as necessary;
- Clean the mating surfaces from the remains of sealing materials and lubricate these surfaces with Hylomar SQ 32 M sealant;

- Replace the upper section gasket of the oil pan;
- The transmission side bolts should be fully tightened only after the engine side bolts have been tightened.
