Removal and installation the radiator (M54, N46)
Attention:
- Risk of steam burn.
- This operation should only be performed on a cold engine.
1. Observe the "Instructions for performing work on the cooling system".
2. Remove the intake manifold.
3. Remove the fan shroud.
4. Drain the coolant.
5. Unlock and disconnect the coolant hoses.
6. Remove the automatic transmission oil heat exchanger.
Note: For modification with automatic transmission.
7. Remove the screw.
8. Loosen the bracket (1).
Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm.
9. Loosen the bracket (1).
Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm.
10. Remove the radiator (1) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
11. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
