Water pump (N47) (BMW X3 E83)

Removal and installation or replacing the water pump (N47)

1. Remove the alternator drive belt.

2. Remove the EGR radiator (only with automatic transmission).

3. Remove the cooling system thermostat.



4. Loosen the bolts (1) and remove the coolant pump.

Note: When installing, it is necessary to replace the seal (1).

5. Assemble the engine.

6. Remove air from the cooling system and check it for leaks.
