Attention:
- Risk of steam burn.
- This operation should only be performed on a cold engine.
Caution: When working with oil, fuel, and coolant circuits, protect the generator from contamination.
1. Cover the generator.
Caution: Failure to comply with this condition may result in generator failure.
Note: When filling the coolant, it is imperative to follow the following sequence of actions:
2. Open the cap on the expansion tank (RT).
3. Loosen the air bleed screw (located in front under the soundproofing casing).
4. Turn on the ignition.
5. Set the heating control to maximum temperature and the fan to minimum speed (at the same time, the heating valves are fully opened and the additional pump is running).
6. Slowly pour in the coolant.
7. Screw in the air bleed screws after the liquid flows without bubbles or after filling to the maximum level.
8. Add fluid to the RB up to the MAX mark for an unheated state.
9. Start the engine and let it idle for 5 minutes (if necessary, add coolant to the maximum level).
10. Close the throttle body cover. Increase the speed to 2500 rpm by pressing the accelerator pedal several times.
11. Open the tank lid. Let the engine idle for another 5 minutes (coolant without air bubbles should flow out of the control line).
12. Add coolant to the maximum level when cold.
13. Add an additional 250 ml to the RB.
14. Close the cap on the expansion tank (RT).
Note: Supplement for vehicles with SA "Autonomous heating system":
15. Turn off the engine.
16. Let the independent heating system operate for 2 minutes.
17. Start the engine and let it idle for about 1 minute.
18. Press the accelerator pedal twice to increase the speed to 2500 rpm.
19. Open the cap on the expansion tank (RT).
20. Add coolant to the maximum level when cold.
21. Add an additional 250 ml to the RB.
22. Close the cap on the expansion tank (RT).
