Thermostat (N47) (BMW X3 E83)

Removal and installation or replacing the thermostat (N47)

1. Remove the EGR radiator.

2. Drain the coolant.

3. Remove the right charge air hose.



4. Unscrew the bolts (1) on the thermostat housing.

5. Remove the thermostat housing.

Note: When installing, it is necessary to replace the seal.

6. Assemble the engine.

7. Fill with coolant and bleed air from the cooling system.
