1. Remove the soundproofing casing.
2. Check the drive belt for traces of coolant and oil and replace if necessary.
Caution: If the drive belt becomes contaminated with hydraulic fluid, it must be replaced.
Note: If the drive belt is to be reused, mark the direction of its rotation and install it in the same direction.
Caution: The belt tensioner is under spring pressure.
3. Press the drive belt tensioner (1) in the direction indicated by the arrow.
4. Remove the drive belt.
5. Create a preliminary force in the drive belt tensioner (1).
Note: Both holes, see arrow, must match.
6. Increase the preload of the tension roller (1) using tool (2) so that tool 113340 can be adjusted relative to the tension roller (1).
7. Remove the drive belt.
Note: When installing, be sure to install the drive belt with the toothed side facing inward.
8. Assemble the engine.
