Removal and installation the lower timing belt cover
1. Remove the engine.
2. Remove the flywheel.
3. Remove the cylinder head.
4. Remove the oil pan.
5. Unscrew the screws (1).
6. Unscrew the high pressure pump mounting bolt.
7. Remove the flat sealing gasket (1).
8. Check the centering bushings (2) for damage and replace if necessary.
9. Pre-install tool 118815 on the crankshaft.
10. Dry the timing ring (1) with the cover and install without lubrication.
11. Insert bolts (1).
12. Tighten the bolts (1) using tool 009120.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm + 90°.
13. Insert the bolt (1) securing the high pressure pump.
Tightening torque: 11 Nm.
14. Assemble the engine.
