Replacing both drive chains
1. Remove the engine.
2. Install the engine on the assembly stand.
3. Remove the cylinder head.
4. Remove the oil pan.
5. Remove the timing belt unit.

6. Lock the lower chain tensioner (1) using tool 114120.
7. Remove the chain tensioner (1).

8. Unscrew the bolts (2).
9. Remove the chain guide bar (1).
Tightening torque: 20 Nm.

10. Unscrew the bolt (2).
11. Remove the tensioner bar (1) from the cylinder head.
12. Remove the drive chain from the cylinder head.

13. Unscrew the bolt (2).
14. Remove the tensioner bar (1) from the high pressure pump.

15. Remove the sprocket (2) with the drive chain (1) by moving it upwards.

16. Pay attention to the spline groove on the high pressure pump (1).

17. Pay attention to the protrusion corresponding to the spline groove on the sprocket (1) of the high pressure pump.

18. Install the drive chain (1) on the crankshaft sprocket in the desired position.
19. Place the sprocket (2) on the high pressure pump.
Note: When installing, pay attention to the spline groove.

20. Screw in the central bolt (1) of the high pressure pump and tighten.
Note: Tool 118740 is not required.

21. Set the chain guide (1) to the desired position.
22. Screw in the hinge pin (2).
Tightening torque: 20 Nm.

23. Set the tensioner bar (1) to the desired position.
24. Screw in the hinge pin (2).
Tightening torque: 20 Nm.

25. Clean the sealing surface (1).

26. Secure the hydraulic chain tensioner (1) at the bottom with two bolts.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm.
27. Remove tool 114120.

28. Set the cylinder head tensioner bar (1) to the desired position.
29. Screw in the hinge pin (2).
Tightening torque: 20 Nm.
Note: When installing, tighten the high pressure pump center bolt only after both drive chains have been installed.
30. Assemble the engine.
