Checking the fuel supply pressure (M57 TU, M57 T2, M47 T2) (BMW X3 E83)

1. Connect the DIS tester.

2. Remove the left underbody trim.

Attention:
  • Collect leaking fuel in a suitable container and send for disposal.
  • Observe the applicable national disposal regulations.


3. Open the quick-release valve and disconnect the supply line.

4. Connect devices 135270 and 135222.

5. Connect the pressure sensor (2) of the DIS tester.

6. Insert tool 135270 into the supply pipe.

7. Turn on the ignition.

8. Read the fuel supply pressure value.

With ignition ON and fuel pump running: 3500 - 7000 mbar.

Fuel return pressure: 200 - 800 mbar.
