2. Connect the DIS tester.
Attention:
- Collect leaking fuel in a suitable container and send for disposal.
- Observe the applicable national disposal regulations.
3. If necessary, remove the protective cover.
4. Release the fuel lines from the holders.
5. Unlock and disconnect the quick-release valve of the fuel supply line (1).
6. Insert tool 136030.
7. Connect the pressure sensor (2) of the DIS tester.
8. Turn on the ignition or activate the fuel pump using the BMW diagnostic system.
9. Read the fuel supply pressure value.
Fuel supply pressure (relative), measured behind the filter in the fuel supply hose to the injection pump/injector: ＞ 3500 mbar;
At idle speed around 800 rpm: ＞ 3700 mbar;
Fuel return pressure: 300 -1500 mbar.
