Caution: Risk of poisoning if oil is ingested. Risk of injury if oil comes into contact with eyes or skin.
Attention:
- Only certified grades of oil must be used for the front axle gearbox.
- Failure to comply with this rule will result in serious damage to the front axle gearbox.
Note: The oil change is performed in the front axle gearbox, warmed up to operating temperature.
1. Remove the stiffener plate.
2. Check and bring the oil level in the front axle gearbox to normal.
1) Unscrew the plug (1) of the oil filler hole.
2) Check the oil level in the front axle gearbox.
3) If necessary, add oil up to the lower edge of the hole (1).
Oil brand:
Agip HLX, Aral Getriebel BS, Dearon BHS, Fina Pontonic MS, Fina Pontonic MX, Veedol SAF 66, Mobil Gearlube VS 600, BP Energear SHX.
Note: The sealing ring must be replaced during installation.
Tightening torque: 60 Nm.
3. Change the oil in the front axle gearbox.
1) Place a device to collect the liquid.
2) Unscrew the plug (1) of the oil drain hole.
3) Drain the oil from the front axle gearbox.
4) Replace the sealing ring, screw in the oil drain plug (1) and tighten.
Tightening torque: 60 Nm.
5) Unscrew the plug (2) of the oil filler hole.
6) Add oil up to the lower edge of the hole (2).

Note: The sealing ring must be replaced during installation.
