Removal and installation the front axle gearbox
1. Remove the front panel of the unit protection.
2. Drain the oil from the front axle gearbox.
3. Remove the left axle shaft.
4. Push the right half shaft out of the front axle gearbox by 7–8 cm.
5. Remove the front propeller shaft.
8. Replace the output link flange for the front axle on the transfer case.
Note: Only when replacing the front axle gearbox.
Note: Replace the flange to ensure a tight seal on the transfer case.
Caution: When removing the last screw, hold the front axle gearbox to prevent it from falling and being damaged.

7. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the oil pan.
Note: For modification with automatic transmission.
8. Remove the screws (1).
Tightening torque: 65 Nm.
9. Disconnect the front axle gearbox from the oil pan and, carefully, remove it downwards.
Note:
- When installing, it is necessary to replace the O-ring.
- Lubricate the O-ring with front axle gearbox oil.
10. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
11. Fill the front axle gearbox with oil.
12. Check and, if necessary, top up the oil level in the transfer case.
13. Check and top up the oil level in the automatic transmission.
Note: Only required if hydraulic lines were disconnected from the automatic transmission or its radiator.
