Caution: To avoid serious damage to the rear axle differential, only use the recommended oil.
Note:
- The rear axle gearboxes have a sticker "Ufe-Time-Oil" the oil is not replaced.
- Change the oil only when the rear axle gearbox is warmed up to operating temperature.
Attention:
- Collect and dispose of the oil leaking from the gearbox.
- Observe the applicable national disposal regulations.
Note: The following procedures are for modifications with an oil drain plug.
1. Place a device to collect the liquid.
2. Unscrew the plug (1) of the oil drain hole.
3. Drain the oil from the rear axle gearbox and send it for disposal.
4. Unscrew the plug (2) of the oil filler hole.
5. Unscrew the plug (2) of the oil filler hole.
6. Fill the oil to the bottom edge of the filling hole (2).
Filling capacity: 0.9 -1.0 l.
Oil brand: Agip HLX, Aral Getriebel BS, Dearon BHS, Fina Pontonic MS, Fina Pontonic MX, Veedoi SAF 66, Mobil Gearlube VS 600, BP Energear SHX.
Note: The following procedures describe the modification without the oil drain plug.
7. Unscrew the plug (1) of the oil filler hole.
8. Drain the oil from the rear axle gearbox and send it for disposal.
9. Fill with oil up to the lower edge of the filling hole (1).
Filling capacity: 0.9-1.0 l.
Oil brand: Agip HLX, Aral Getriebel BS, Dearon BHS, Fina Pontonic MS, Fina Pontonic MX, Veedoi SAF 66, Mobil Gearlube VS 600, BP Energear SHX.
10. Replace the filler plug/O-ring (1).
Tightening torque: 60 Nm.
