LU-JETRONIC injection device (BMW 3 Series E30)
Lambda probe (oxygen sensor) on vehicles with a regulated catalytic converter, it measures the oxygen content in the exhaust gases and transmits the information to the electronic unit in the form of voltage. Based on this information, the electronic unit changes the ratio of air and fuel supplied to the combustion chamber so that the catalytic converter ensures optimal combustion of the exhaust gases.
