Checking the control pressure
The control pressure is checked on the vehicle using the KOEP 1034 tee, installed on the discharge pipeline connecting the dispenser-distributor with the control pressure regulator. A pressure gauge with a scale of up to 6 kg/cm² is connected to the third nipple of the tee.

After tightening all the fittings, open and close the taps several times, lowering the pressure gauge on the connecting hose as low as possible to remove air from the system. Then hang the pressure gauge on the hood crossbar or in any other place where its readings will be easy to read.
When the engine is not running and is cold, the control pressure should be within 0.5-1 kg/cm² (see graph), at idle speed of a warmed-up engine - 3.4-3.8 kg/cm², with a non-running warmed-up engine - 2.7-3.1 kg/cm².
