Control pressure test
The control pressure is checked on the vehicle using a KOEP 1034 tee installed on the discharge pipeline connecting the dispenser-distributor to the control pressure regulator. A manometer with a scale of up to 6 kg/cm2 is connected to the third fitting of the tee.
After tightening all fittings, open and close the valves several times, lowering the pressure gauge on the connecting hose as low as possible to remove air from the system. After that, hang the pressure gauge on the cross member of the hood or in any other place where its readings will be easily read.
When the engine is not running, the control pressure must be between 0.5-1 kg/cm2 (see chart), at idling of a warm engine - 3.4-3.8 kg / cm2, with an idle warm engine - 2.7-3.1 kg / cm2.
