If your vehicle's radio is equipped with an anti-theft system, make sure you have entered the correct code before disconnecting the battery cable. See section for information Anti-theft audio system and instrument panel language before disconnecting the wire.
If after connecting the wire on your instrument panel there are inscriptions in the wrong language that you need, refer to Section Anti-theft audio system and instrument panel language, for instructions on how to set the desired language.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Windshield wiper motor
1. Remove plugs and give nuts.
2. After loosening the nut, use a magnet to remove the metal washer, then remove the wiper arms.
3. Pry off the mounting clips and remove the fairing grille to gain access to the wiper assembly.
4. Give screws or nuts and remove the cover of a screen wiper located on a bulkhead of an impellent compartment.
5. Disconnect an electric socket and remove draft of a screen wiper.
6. Mark position of a shaft of a screen wiper concerning draft. Remove the wiper rod from the motor shaft by carefully prying it off with a screwdriver.
7. Give three fixing bolts and remove the screen wiper motor from the car.
8. Install in reverse order. When installing the motor, if necessary, connect the connector and turn on the motor to set it to neutral (windshield wipers off).
Tailgate wiper motor
1. Open the rear glass of the tailgate.
2. Remove the panel (panels) trim, then disconnect the washer tube and wiring connector.
3. Give fixing nuts and remove the wiper motor.
4. The wiper blades and swivel mechanism can be removed from the rear window if necessary after removing the trim panels.
5. Install in reverse order. When installing the motor, if necessary, connect the connector and turn on the motor to set it to neutral (wipers in idle position).
