Withdrawal
Remove antenna booster.
Remove the left and right gas-filled shock absorber from the body.
Disconnect the left and right gas springs from the rear window glass frame.
Pull out the rubber insert for the left wiring harness. Disconnect the 3 connectors for the heater and switch for the rear window glass. The antenna booster cable has already been loosened. Pull out the antenna amplifier wire.
Pull out the rubber insert on the right side. Disconnect the rear window washer hose and pull out the aerial amplifier cable further.
To facilitate subsequent assembly, mark the position of the hinges relative to the door and body. To do this, circle the hinges around the perimeter with a felt-tip pen.
Protect the door opening on the car from possible damage by pasting it around the perimeter with adhesive tape.
Attention: After releasing the mounting bolts, the rear door with the window frame may slide down and rest against the edge of the body.
Safety note. There is a risk of pinching fingers and damage to body parts!
Ask two assistants to hold the door firmly.
Remove 4 bolts -arrows- each on left and right for rear door hinge and window glass frame.
Lower the rear door so that the hinges tilt.
Swing the hinges of the rear door and the window glass frame so that the door together with the window glass frame can be removed towards the rear.
Remove rear door together with window glass frame.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order. When installing a new rear door, pre-attach all adjacent parts and tailgate adjust.
