Only keys from a single lock are suitable for the trunk (refer to the subsection «Keys»).

Separate trunk locking

Apply some force, turn the key to the right and remove it in a horizontal position.

Thus, the trunk is locked and its lock is disconnected from the single lock system. As a result, a person, for example, a hotel employee, who has received from you key 3 for the door and ignition lock (refer to subsection "Keys"), will not be able to open the trunk.

Opening from the outside

Opening from the outside

Press the button. The trunk will open.

Emergency use of the trunk lock

(in case of electrical equipment defect)

Insert the key from the main lock into the trunk lock and turn it to the left until it stops - the trunk will open.

The trunk is locked again as soon as the lid is slammed shut.

Opening from the salon

Opening from the salon

If the trunk lock is not under the control of the alarm system, it can be opened by pressing this button. When the car is moving, it is not possible to open the trunk using this button.

Tension belts

Tension belts

To secure small luggage, use the tension straps on the bottom of the trunk.

If you place things on these belts, their rough surface will prevent things from shifting while moving.

The corners of the luggage rack are equipped with special loops for attaching cargo-retaining nets or belts to secure individual items.

Hook

Tension belts

On the left side of the trunk there is a hook on which you can hang shopping bags and similar items.

Closing the trunk lid

Closing the trunk lid

Pen (shown by arrow), located next to the locking mechanism, makes it easier to close the trunk lid. To prevent exhaust gases from entering the passenger compartment, the trunk lid must be closed while the car is moving. If one day you have to drive with the lid up, then

1. Close all windows and the sunroof

2. Set the heating and ventilation systems or automatic air conditioner to the high air supply mode. Refer to Sections 14 and 15.
