If you press the two-position switch without going beyond the point of increased resistance, then the glass will move during the entire time the switch is held in this position.
With a short press on the switch with a transition beyond the point of increased resistance, a start-stop mode is implemented, in which the glass moves automatically. To stop it, you need to press the switch again in the same way.
On the front passenger door and in the rear (when equipped with rear doors with electric windows) separate switches are installed under the windows.
Always take the ignition key with you when leaving the vehicle so that, for example, children cannot operate the power windows and injure themselves. After switching off the ignition, the power windows can still be used if
- key is in position 1 or 0
- removed from the lock, as well as some export modifications
- before opening the front doors or
- within 15 minutes after their first opening
For automatic opening and closing of windows by turning the key in the door lock or using radio remote control, refer to Section 2.
Anti-pinch function of electric windows
If, at the moment of glass lifting, touch the rack contact at the upper edge of the opening, the glass will stop and lower slightly.
This feature can be disabled (for example, when an unauthorized person tries to enter the car from outside), while holding the power window switch in the start-stop control position.
Fuse switch
With it, you can prevent the power windows from being switched on from the rear seat, for example by children sitting there.
If there are children in the back seat, always press the safety button. Uncontrolled closing of the windows can lead to injury.
