The windows can be used after turning the ignition key to position 1.

The windows can be used after turning the ignition key to position 1.

If you press a two-position switch without going beyond the point of increased resistance, the glass will move for the entire time the switch is held in this position.

When the switch is pressed briefly beyond the point of increased resistance, the start-stop mode is implemented, in which the glass moves automatically. To stop it, you need to press the switch again in exactly the same way.

On the front passenger door and in the rear of the body (when rear doors are equipped with electric windows) separate switches are installed under the glass.

When leaving the car, always take the ignition key with you, so that, for example, children cannot operate the windows and injure themselves. After turning off the ignition, the ability to use the windows remains if
  • the key is in position 1 or 0
  • removed from the lock, as well as in some export modifications
  • before opening the front doors or
  • within 15 minutes after they are first opened

For automatic opening and closing of windows by turning the key in the door lock or by means of a radio remote control, please refer to Section 2.

Electric window lifters' anti-tear function

If, when the glass is being raised, you touch the rack contact at the upper edge of the opening, the glass will stop and lower slightly.

This feature can be disabled (for example, when an outsider tries to enter the car from the outside), if you hold the window switch in the start-stop control mode position.

With its help you can prevent the windows from being turned on from the rear seat, for example by children sitting there.

If there are children in the rear seat, always press the safety button. Uncontrolled closing of the windows can cause injuries.
