Withdrawal
Attach the gearbox to the fixture.
Pour out the oil.
Remove the reversing light switch.
Remove the plug and remove the spring and retainer.
Remove the circlip and washer from the input shaft.
Knock out the centering pins of the gearbox housing cover.
Remove the front of the gearbox housing.
Installation
Insert the countershaft roller bearing with the small diameter facing up.
Coat the crankcase in the area of the reverse gear pin with sealant. The surface must be clean and free of grease.
Remove the oil drain screw.
Put on the front of the crankcase.
Position the intermediate shaft so that the rollers slide over the outer race of the bearing.
Screw the front of the crankcase to the gearbox cover. Install the spring retainer and insert the plug.
Install the distance and protective rings on the input shaft.
Ensure a gap of 0.09 mm.
Install the guide bush with a new O-ring.
