Elements of the gear shift mechanism

Withdrawal
Pull the shift lever firmly up.
Pry the shift lever boot from the center console and pull it off the shift lever.
Raise and support the vehicle. Pull out the mounting bracket from the underside of the car (4) and pull out the shift bar, remove the washers (5) on both sides of the shift bar.
Install the special key on the gear lever from below and turn it 90°counterclockwise. Then push up the spherical cup.
Remove the rubber boot from the body and from the console and pull it up together with the gear lever. If there is, unscrew the clip for the vibration damper (counterweight) on the shift lever and remove it.
Installation
Lubricate the spherical cup of the gear lever with grease.
Insert the shift lever with spherical cup so that the protrusion or arrow on the spherical cup points towards the support trunnion, i.e. opposite to the direction of movement.
Use a screwdriver to press the support cup into the mount from above until the lugs of the mount click into place with a sound.
Insert the shift rod pin with washers into the shift lever, press the mount (brace). Lower the car.
Install the rubber boot. In this case, put the inner edge on the lever, and the outer edge - in the cutout of the body.
Slide on the vibration damper and secure with the clip. Snap on the cover with the case.
Place the lever handle on the lever and press firmly.
