2. Press the lock (1) and simultaneously disconnect the vacuum hose together with the connection (2).
When installing, check the sealing ring of the connection and replace it if necessary.
3. Remove the vacuum pump mounting bolts.
When installing, clean the threads. Use new bolts or apply Drei Bond 1209 sealant to old bolts.
4. Remove the bolt on the engine oil dipstick guide tube.
5. Turn the vacuum pump approximately 30° clockwise, push the guide tube (1) of the dipstick out of the vacuum pump (2), and remove the vacuum pump.
Replace the vacuum pump sealing ring if necessary.
