2. Remove the clutch release sleeve (1).
When installing, clean all sliding surfaces (2) of the clutch – they must fit against the sliding surfaces (3) of the clutch release fork. Lightly lubricate the sliding surfaces (2) of the release bearing.
3. Remove the spring clip (5) of the clutch release fork (4), then remove the fork itself.
When installing, clean the clutch release fork.
4. Lightly lubricate the sliding surfaces of the clutch release fork (1 and 2).
5. Check the spring clip (5) and pin (6) with the ball head for damage and replace if necessary. Lightly lubricate the pin (6).
6. Clean the guide bushing (7).
Do not lubricate the guide bushing, otherwise the release bearing may jam on it.
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
On the S6S 420G manual transmission, the spring clip and pin must be replaced.
