Removal and installation the sensor in the left or right front door
Caution: Follow the ESD protection instructions (ESD - Electrostatic Discharge).
Attention:
- Observe safety requirements when handling fire safety equipment.
- Improper handling may result in the airbag deploying and, as a result, injury to personnel.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and cover the terminal.
2. Disconnect the sound insulation in the work area.
3. Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).
4. Unscrew the screws (2).
Tightening torque: 8 Nm.
5. Remove the sensor (3) in the front door in the direction indicated by the arrow.
6. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
