1. Screw for fastening to the front pillar and luggage compartment pillar. 2. Gas generator. 3. Gas generator mounting screws. 4. Head airbag clamps. 5. AHPS head airbag. 6. Clamp mounting screws.
Attention:
- Observe safety regulations when handling airbag system modules and seat belt tensioners with pyropatrons.
- Improper handling may result in the airbag deploying and, as a result, injury to personnel.
- If the AHPS head airbag is damaged during dismantling or installation, it must be replaced.
- A damaged AHPS head airbag has limited protective functions or may not deploy at all in an extreme situation.
1. Remove the ceiling trim.
2. Remove the instrument panel trim.
Note:
- Screws with sealant (Loctite) must be replaced and should not be reused.
- The screws must be screwed in within 20 minutes (beginning of hardening).
- Tightening screws with sealant is not allowed.
- When using repeatedly, the nut threads should be cleaned beforehand.
Caution: When removing the AHPS head airbag, do not damage:
- aHPS head air defense system;
- windshield;
- clamps;
- sheathing.

3. Loosen the mounting screw (1) on the front pillar.
Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm.
Note: The screw is held in the shackle by a lock washer.

4. Unscrew the rear mounting screw (1).
Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm.
Note: The screw is held in the shackle by a lock washer.

5. Loosen the screws (1) securing the clamps (2).
Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm.

6. Unlock and disconnect the connector (1) of the gas generator (2) of the AHPS head airbag.

7. Loosen the screws (1) securing the gas generator (2).
Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm.
8. Remove the AHPS head airbag assembly with the gas generator.
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
