Distribution main (BMW X5 E53)

The distribution main is a cavity with sockets (holes) for installing injectors and fuel supply fittings (Fig. 3.25).



It is covered with a protective casing. The distribution line functions as a pressure accumulator, which ensures the supply of fuel to all injectors under constant pressure. Its volume is specially calculated to ensure noise reduction when changing operating modes and pressure drops.
