Basic information
1. Due to the complexity of the sunroof drive mechanism, a lot of experience is required to successfully repair, replace or adjust it. To replace, you first need to remove the headlining, which is a difficult and tedious operation. Therefore, if there are any problems with the hatch (except for the replacement of the electric drive) contact a specialized service station.
2. On models with power sunroof, check the fuse first if the sunroof fails. If you failed to identify and eliminate the malfunction, then you can open or close the hatch manually using a socket wrench, turning the motor shaft with it. (The necessary key is included in the vehicle's standard tool kit). Remove the headlining panel cover to access the motor drive. Disconnect the wiring connector from the electric drive and turn the drive shaft with a socket wrench, moving the sunroof to the desired position (pic. 22.2).

3. Carefully remove the interior light cover from the ceiling. Disconnect the connector from it (s) wiring.
4. Gently lower the front edge of the motor drive panel and remove it together with the switch. Disconnect the wiring connector from the panel.
5. Turn out three screws of fastening and remove the electric drive. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator (pic. 22.4).
6. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Set the actuator to the initial position (see below).
Setting the actuator to the initial position
7. Connect the battery and turn on the ignition. Press the sunroof tilt switch (position "tilt") and keep it pressed.
8. After the sunroof is tilted, hold the switch pressed for 20 seconds. The home setting will end after the back of the sunroof has lifted slightly.
