1. Clean the surfaces of the intermediate shaft bearings and the bearing bushings pressed into the cylinder block.
2. Lubricate the shaft and insert it into the block.
3. Install the two mounting bolts to the retaining plate block.
4. The remaining parts are installed in the reverse order of removal.
