2. In order not to upset the balance of the cardan shaft assembly, mark with paint the relative position of its front and rear parts.
Do not use objects that can damage the surface of the shaft for this purpose (e.g. kerner).
3. Remove the bolt (1) and disconnect the propeller shaft.
4. Remove spacer washer and boot.
5. Remove the intermediate support using tool no. 00 7 500/33 1 307 and a conventional puller.
6. Install the new intermediate support to the stop using mandrel no. 24 0 090 or no.
7. Install new connecting bolt, lubricating it with a fixing sealant. When installing, make sure that there are no traces of grease on the thread.
8. Align the alignment marks and tighten the bolt to the required torque.
