5. Disconnect the connector. If the windshield wiper motor is faulty, remove the arm (1) and turn the rods and levers until the screws (2) become accessible.

2. Loosen the nut (1) and remove the lever (2) from the electric motor shaft. Unscrew the bolts (3) and remove the windshield wiper drive electric motor.

During installation, only the electric motor may be secured with bolts (3).

3. Remove the windshield wiper arm bracket and operate the windshield wiper until the motor comes to rest. Place the arm (1) on the shaft so that the rods (4 and 5) are in line.
