Basically, to remove any switch, switch, or their block, you should squeeze it out of the panel and disconnect the connector. The following are unusual switch removal procedures.
Steering column switches
1. Set the steering wheel to the straight-line position and do not turn it during the repair.
2. Remove the steering wheel and steering column covers (see chapter Suspension and steering).
3. Disconnect the connector (1) from mounting switches on the steering column. If equipped, disconnect the connector (2) from the steering column adjustment switch.
4. Disconnect the connector (1) from the wiper control switch.
5. Disconnect the connector (2) from the switch (1) outdoor lighting control.
6. Remove the screws (1) and remove the switches (2) on the steering column.
7. Release the clamps (1) and remove the switch (2) up wiper control.
8. If equipped, lift the lock (1) in the direction of the arrow, slide the switch (2) adjust the steering column in the direction of the arrow and remove it.
9. Release the clips (1) and remove the switch (2) outdoor lighting control.
Single lock and alarm switches
1. Remove the transmission control lever trim.
2. Squeeze out the corresponding switch from the central console from below, separate a socket and remove the switch.
