Hood, hinges, gas-filled shock absorber and hood drive

Removal



1. Disconnect the windshield washer nozzle connector.

2. Disconnect the hose connection of the windshield washer nozzles.

2. Disconnect the hose connection of the windshield washer nozzles.


3. Mark the position of loop "1" on the hood by tracing the loop with a felt-tip pen.

4. Support the hood or have an assistant hold it.

5. Unscrew bolt "2" on the left and right, loosen bolt "3".

6. Disconnect the ground cable "4" on the left loop.



7. Remove the hood with the help of an assistant.

Installation



8. Install the hood with the help of an assistant, screw in the bolts "2" without tightening them.

9. Align the hood according to the markings and tighten the mounting bolts.

10. If the hood was replaced with a new one, adjust it.
