
Note. The pins for fastening the shift forks of the 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears are not knocked out completely. Push them in so that they enter between the teeth of the synchronizer clutch hub (see photo) until they stop against the synchronizer locking rings.

On the rear cover of the transmission case, remove the plugs from the holes for the gear selector rod and the reverse light switch, and also remove the plug from the center hole of the rear cover, then remove the gear shift fork rods in the following order:
- move the III and IV gear shift rod with the fork;
- turn the lever on the gear selector rod and remove the rod together with the lever;
- turn the rod of the fork of switching III and IV gears and remove it together with the fork;
- remove the rod and fork of switching the first and second gears;
- remove the reverse gear rod and fork.

Loosen the secondary shaft flange nut of the gearbox using key 6039, centering sleeve 607 and a head with a face length of 30 mm.

Press the flange, remove the secondary shaft rear bearing cover and take out the adjusting shim.
Remove the rear bearing from the secondary shaft.
Remove the primary, secondary and intermediate shafts simultaneously, then remove the axle with the reverse intermediate gear.
Remove the three shift rod detent balls and the two locking balls and their springs (all balls and springs are the same).
Check the condition of the gear selector rod lock.
