Closing with a key
Locking the doors or trunk with the key, or lowering the driver's door interior lock button, locks all doors, the trunk, and the fuel door.
In the event of an accident, all locks open automatically, after which the alarm and interior lighting turn on.
When the driver's door is open, the interior lock button cannot be pressed. This prevents accidental locking of the vehicle.
Anti-theft system
Switches on automatically when the car is locked from the outside (all doors are also locked).
The key can only be pulled out when the slot is in a vertical position.
Attention: Do not lock the car if there are people inside - it will be impossible to open the doors from the inside.
Automatic closing of windows and electric sunroof
Hold the key in the lock of the closed driver's door in one of the two extreme positions, while the open windows and sunroof will close.
Car opening
If the central locking electric drive fails, only the passenger door can be opened.
To do this, lift the door handle and turn the key to the "Open'' with the transition beyond the point of resistance.
When the door is subsequently closed, turning the key past the point of resistance activates the anti-theft system.
Note: If the front passenger door lock button does not release after normally closing the doors, try opening the doors again using the emergency circuit and then close as previously described.
Opening the doors from the outside: Raise the door handle.
Heated driver's door lock*
Turns on when the driver's door handle is raised.
The heating time is set automatically.
Opening doors from the inside
Raise the lock button and pull the handle over the armrest.
Attention: If small children are left in the car, they can lock the doors from the inside. Therefore, always take the keys with you when leaving the car so that you can open the car from the outside again at any time.
