Before replacing a fuse, always switch off the corresponding power consumer first.
Open the glove compartment and turn both white swivel clips to the left by 90°. This causes the fuse box to open and fold down. The fuse layout diagram is located under the fuse cover. Remove the fuse cover with the embossed arrow.

A blown fuse can be identified by the melted metal wire.

Pull out the defective fuse. The plastic clip (red) for better grip of the fuse is located in the fuse box. Remove the clip, squeeze, grip the fuse with the clip and pull out.
Insert a new fuse rated for the same amperage.
If the new fuse also blows after a short time, the corresponding electrical circuit must be checked.
Never replace a fuse with wire or other improvised means, as this may damage the electrical system.
It is recommended to always have spare fuses in the car. There are appropriate free spaces in the fuse box for storing them.

The fuse's nominal current value is stamped on the back of its holder. In addition, the holder has a color marking, which can also be used to determine the nominal current value. A - fusible metal wire.
Tilt the fuse box up and turn the white twist-lock tabs to the right.
Additional fuses are located in the luggage compartment behind the right side trim.
The permanent positive cable fuse is located in a separate fuse box above the battery.
