1. Remove the crankcase protection.
2. Remove drive belts (see Section Removal and installation of drive belts and their tensioners).
3. Turn out bolts in the bottom part of a transmission.
4. Loosen the bolt (1), slide the extendable clutch (2) down as far as it will go, fasten tool no. 11 8 181 to the gearbox, insert and tighten the bolts (3).
5. Turn the crankshaft in the vibration damper with tool no. 11 6 480 until the sliding sleeve of tool no. 11 8 180 engages in the ring gear.
6. Lock the flywheel by moving the retractable clutch (1) up to the stop in the gear rim of the flywheel and tighten the bolt (2).
7. Turn out bolts (1) damper (2) torsional vibrations.
8. Install in reverse order, use new vibration damper mounting bolts.
