Anti-corrosion protection of the underbody

Anti-corrosion protection of the underbody is performed at the manufacturing plant or at specialized service stations. The underbody must be completely covered with protective material. Wheel arches are exposed to the greatest danger, they must be protected from stone impacts with inserts made of light metal or plastic. Hidden cavities must be covered with special compounds based on technical waxes, applied by spraying. During the autumn inspection of the car, after washing the underbody, check the condition of the anti-corrosion protection and apply an additional layer of protective material.

The base of the body collects dust, dirt, clay and sand. Pay special attention to cleaning the body from these deposits, especially in winter, when the roads are treated with salt compounds.

Anti-corrosion protection of the engine compartment

Anti-corrosion protection of the engine compartment consists of preventing corrosion of the front of the car - side elements, side members and cross members. Also elements and units located in the engine compartment, including the brake system, steering, front suspension. They should be treated with high-quality anti-corrosion agents based on waxes, which are applied by spraying, immediately after washing and drying. Before washing the engine, it is necessary to elements of electrical equipment (generator, starter) cover with plastic covers.
