Staining is carried out in the following order. Select the section of the panel to be painted, cover the rest of the surface with thick paper, fixed with adhesive tape. At the same time, a 50 mm wide section of the surface not affected by damage should be left open around the perimeter. thin paper (newspaper) use multiple layers.
Before painting, check the operation of the spray gun or aerosol can on the auxiliary surface (cardboard) and practice coating techniques.
Carry out surface priming. The thickness is achieved due to the multi-layering of thin primer layers. Dry the surface to be treated before applying each coat of primer.
Sand the surface with damp sandpaper «N-600» sparing no running water.
Achieve absolute smoothness of the surface and allow the primer to dry completely.
Apply a layer of decorative paint, again achieving its thickness due to multiple layers (3–5). Apply layers on «wet», Let the previous layer dry slightly. Start painting from the center of the area to be repaired, by hand with a spray gun (spray can) circular movements, expanding their radius in a spiral until the entire damaged surface is covered, plus another ring of the surrounding surface with a width of about 50 mm.
After 10–15 minutes, no later than after applying the last layer of paint, remove the paper and adhesive tape that covered the body panel.
The paint is completely dry (polymerizes) in two weeks. Only now proceed to smooth out the color transition by treating the restored painted surface with a very fine sanding paste.
Finally, apply a wax coat to the restored panel «AB-70». If less than 4 years have passed after painting the body, then you can use car polish.
If after the implementation of the specified technology it was not possible to achieve satisfactory results, then you can apply the grinding paste of the brand «PMA-2», if this does not help, then carry out a complete repainting of the body. Reapplying the paste «PMA-2» not allowed.
