- start washing the car immediately after the trip, especially if you are in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, dust storm);
- before washing, remove dead insects, especially from the windshield and headlights;
- for washing use plenty of water and use a sponge or a very soft brush. Moisten the surface of the body, starting from the top, with plenty of water and let the dirt soak;
- do not allow water and steam under high pressure to enter the painted surfaces of the body;
- wash off the soaked dirt from top to bottom with plenty of running water, rinse the sponge or brush in running water as often as possible. To wipe the body, use technical suede or an old, well-stretched, soft rag;
- for washing it is recommended to use preparations for the care of painted surfaces (car shampoos). Rinse thoroughly with clean running water;
- to protect the paintwork, you can add preparations for the care of the painted surface to the water. Do not wash or dry the car in the sun, water drops act as lenses and whitish spots remain on the paint;
- Remove any spilled fuel, oil, grease, brake fluid or antifreeze from the body surface immediately. Salt sprinkled on roads is especially harmful to internal cavities, flanges and folds, as well as to door joints, trunk roof and hood.
Attention! Under the action of moisture that has fallen on the brake discs, the braking efficiency decreases. It is recommended, at the initial stage of the trip, to apply the brakes several times to dry them.
