Instrumental leak detection (BMW X5 E53)

            0

Attention! Avoid personal contact with R134a refrigerant during leak detection.

Search for leaks using a leak detection device according to the operating instructions of the device manufacturer. If a leak of R134a refrigerant is detected during the process of filling the air conditioner, it is necessary to fill the air conditioner despite this. Then search for leaks using the device.

Search for leaks should be carried out in the absence of ventilation of units and pipelines, since air flows carry away the outgoing R134a refrigerant, preventing the device from recording the place of their appearance. Mark the detected leaks, pump out the R134a refrigerant and seal the pipeline (unit) or replace them. After eliminating the leak, fill the system with R134a refrigerant and repeat the leak search.
