Attention! Work on cleaning the evaporator must be carried out in protective glasses and rubber gloves. Traces of cleaning solutions should be removed with plenty of running water.
Cleaning the air conditioner evaporator should be done in the following order. Prepare cleaning agents and protective measures. Prepare devices "64.1.451", "64.1.456", "64.1.457" and "64.1.458". Close all ventilation grilles. Turn on the air conditioner in recirculation mode. Lay a mat in the work area. Place a container underneath to collect the cleaning agent, as it flows out through the drain hole in the transmission tunnel. If necessary, remove the rear panel of the auxiliary units protection.
Remove the air conditioner fan limit switch. Plug the hole (A, Fig.17.11) adapter (adapter) for the spray tube "64.1.457" with the plug "64.1.458". Fix the spray tube adapter "64.1.457" in the hole of the limit switch of the fan of the air conditioning system. When installing the devices, pay close attention to the correct installation of the adapter "64.1.457" of the spray tube in the guides (1).

Insert the spray tube "64.1.451" in the direction of the arrow (fig. 17.12), and secure it with the "64.1.456" fastener.

Connect the spray tube "64.1.451" to the sprayer. Rotate in different directions (arrows, Fig. 17.13) spray tube "64.1.451", apply the cleaning agent evenly to the evaporator. After cleaning, allow the liquid to drain from the evaporator for 5 minutes. Replace the cleaning agent with water and rinse the evaporator from the cleaning agent.

After washing for 10-15 minutes, let the water drain. Set the control unit switches to the footwell blowing mode and to the outside air supply mode. Open the doors or windows. Start the engine, set the maximum air supply and let the unit run for 5 minutes to dry the evaporator.
Rinse the evaporator again with water to remove any remaining cleaning agent.
