Replacing the air conditioning control unit (BMW X5 E53)

The air conditioning control unit is shown in figure 1.70, Figure 17.21 shows the control and flow direction unit of the automatic air conditioner. The replacement of the air conditioning system control unit must be carried out in the following order.



Prepare the device "00.9.340" and, using it, unfasten the block (1, Fig. 17.22) air conditioner control unit and pull it out in the direction indicated by the arrow. Disconnect the control unit from the control unit and remove it.



The installation of the air conditioner control unit should be carried out in the reverse order, while ensuring that the unit (1) is correctly positioned in the guides.

After replacing the unit, you should code it - enter the program into the new control unit. To replace the key covers of the air conditioner control unit and on all other control systems, just hook it from below and remove it with an upward movement.
