Replacing the brake disc (BMW X5 E53)

The design of the brake discs is shown in Figure 11.4 – front brake mechanism and in Figure 11.5 – rear brake mechanism.

Attention! The brake disc is replaced if it does not meet the requirements given in the Technical Parameters table.

Brake discs must be replaced only in pairs, on both wheels of the axle. When replacing discs, new brake pads must be installed taking into account the direction of rotation and the installation side. The left brake disc has an odd part number, the right one has an even one.
