Correct seating position (BMW X5 E53)

Proper seating ensures muscle relaxation during a long journey. In combination with seat belts and airbags, proper seating plays an important role in ensuring the passive safety of the driver and passengers.

Attention! Correct landing includes the following points:

• do not lean against the airbag covers:
• hold the steering wheel only by the rim, at the points corresponding to three and nine o'clock on the dial;
• the space between the airbag and the occupant must always be free;
• do not use the front passenger airbag cover as a shelf;
• do not rest your feet on the dashboard;
• the noise from a deploying airbag may cause temporary deafness and minor injuries to the face and hands.
