Seat adjustment (BMW X5 E53)

            0

The car can be equipped with several models of seats - standard, sports and comfortable, with mechanical or electric adjustment. The basic configuration includes standard seats with mechanical (manual) adjustment. To relieve the spinal discs, you should sit with the seat as far back as possible, resting your entire back on the seat back. The head should be in line with the spine. A slight increase in the tilt of the seat back during long trips allows you to relax the back muscles, but at the same time, the arms lying on the highest point of the steering wheel should be slightly bent at the elbows. You should hold the steering wheel only by the rim, at the points corresponding to three and nine o'clock on the dial. This will minimize the risk of injury to the hands and forearms in the event of the front airbag deployment.

Attention! All seat adjustments must be made only when the vehicle is parked.
