Fog lights and lamps (BMW X5 E53)

The fog light switch is a key type, located on the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column and has two on/off keys (Fig. 1.24). The left key turns on the fog lights, the right key turns on the fog lights.



A prerequisite for turning on the fog lights is to turn on the low beam or parking lights. In this case, the green indicator lights up on the BMW X5 E53 instrument panel. A prerequisite for turning on the fog lights is to turn on the low beam or fog lights. In this case, the yellow indicator lights up on the instrument panel. When you press both keys simultaneously, all fog lights are turned on. In this case, you must follow the established rules for using fog lights for the country where the car is located.
