The centrifugal coolant pump is mounted on the front end wall of the engine cylinder block. The pump shaft is driven by a multi-groove belt simultaneously with the generator and the power steering pump from the crankshaft pulley. The fan is controlled by a viscous coupling. The engines are equipped with a 7Kx1635 belt from "Hutchinson". The required belt tension is provided automatically.
