It is strictly forbidden to use oils that are not certified by BMW.
When changing the oil, take measures to ensure special cleanliness, as even minor contamination of the oil will lead to failure of the automatic transmission.
If the oil being replaced has a burnt smell and a blackish tint, then the automatic transmission requires repair.
When working with an automatic transmission, it is necessary to use a universal device – a lift (Fig. 9.2).
