- tighten the steering gear housing mounting bolt to the front suspension crossmember with a torque of 4.3+0.5 kgf·m;
- install the flexible coupling according to the mark applied to the steering shaft when removing the steering gear;
- make sure that the lower bolt of the flexible coupling is inserted to the required depth into the locking groove;
- check the length "A" (see photo) of the side and middle rods of the steering gear, the nominal values of which are 353110 and 48811 mm, respectively;
- check the front wheel alignment angles (see section "Front suspension");
- if necessary (wheel alignment or wheel turning angle misalignment) disconnect the pendulum arm from the front suspension crossmember and check the condition of the silent block, if necessary, press it out and replace it with a new one, maintaining dimension "A" (see picture), which should be equal to 143.510.5 mm. Also check the dimensions "A" and "B" of the steering knuckle.
